Abstract
In a driving control device for controlling driving of a vehicle, a controller is configured to acquire, from a contactless sensor mounted to the vehicle, sensor information indicative of a motion of a target foot of a driver of the vehicle, and recognize, based on the sensor information, the motion of the target foot of the driver. The controller is configured to control a braking operation of the vehicle based on the recognized motion of the target foot of the driver so as to improve energy efficiency of the vehicle.

A driving control device for controlling driving of a vehicle, the driving control device comprising:
- a controller configured to:
- acquire, using a contactless sensor mounted to the vehicle, sensor information indicative of a motion of a target foot of a driver of the vehicle;
- recognize, based on the sensor information, the motion of the target foot of the driver;
- and
- control a braking operation of the vehicle based on the recognized motion of the target foot of the driver so as to improve energy efficiency of the vehicle.
