Abstract
A method for activating a light-emitting textile includes providing a light-emitting textile having a textile layer which comprises at least one light guide having a casing, and producing at least one light exit region by irradiating at least a portion of the casing of the light guide with a first energy beam and a second energy beam.

- providing a light-emitting textile with a textile layer that has at least one light guide with a casing;
- and
- creating at least one light exit region by irradiating at least a partial region of the casing of the light guide with a first energy beam and a second energy beam.
