Abstract
A device for the operation of functions in a vehicle includes a control panel arranged in the vehicle such that it can move locally. A drive for moving the control panel is connected to a controller, with the controller furthermore being connected to a touch- or approach-sensitive adjusting element. The controller is configured to activate the drive if the adjusting element is approached or contacted and, if the position of the approach or contact changes, to move the control panel analogously thereto.

A device configured to operate functions in a vehicle, the device comprising:
- a control panel arranged in the vehicle such that the control panel is locally moveable;
- a drive configured to move the control panel;
- a touch- or approach-sensitive adjusting element;
- and
- a controller coupled to the drive and to the touch- or approach-sensitive adjusting element, wherein the controller is configured to
- activate the drive when the touch- or approach-sensitive adjusting element is approached or contacted, and
- when a position of the approach or contact changes, to move the control panel analogously to the changes of the position of approach or contact, wherein the touch- or approach-sensitive adjusting element is set apart from the control panel and is arranged in the vehicle such that the touch- or approach-sensitive adjusting element is reachable from any seat position by a user raising their arm.
