Abstract
A tailgate system includes: a tailgate disposed at a rear of a vehicle to open or close an internal space of the vehicle; a rotation unit disposed in the vehicle and connected, at an end portion thereof, to the tailgate to rotate the tailgate by operation; and a sliding unit disposed in the tailgate and connected, at an end portion thereof, to the rotation unit, the sliding unit being configured to implement a linear movement of the tailgate by selective operation during rotation of the tailgate.

A tailgate system comprising:
- a tailgate disposed at a rear of a vehicle to open or close an internal space of the vehicle;
- a rotation unit disposed in the vehicle and connected, at an end portion thereof, to the tailgate, the rotation unit being configured to rotate the tailgate by operation;
- and
- a sliding unit disposed in the tailgate and connected, at an end portion thereof, to the rotation unit, the sliding unit being configured to implement a linear movement of the tailgate by selective operation during rotation of the tailgate.
