Abstract
Systems, apparatus, articles of manufacture, and methods are disclosed for event triggered suspension control of work vehicles. An example vehicle includes dampers at different locations of a chassis, a sensor, and the programmable circuitry to execute machine-readable instructions to: identify an event based on at least one of data provided by the sensor, the event indicative of a change in motion of the chassis; damping forces to be applied by respective dampers based on the event; and cause the dampers to independently apply the respective damping forces to respective locations of the chassis.
Claims20
A vehicle comprising:
- a chassis;
- a first damper at a first location of the chassis;
- a second damper at a second location of the chassis;
- a sensor;
- machine-readable instructions;
- and
- programmable circuitry to execute the machine-readable instructions to:
- identify an event based on at least one of data provided by the sensor, the event indicative of a change in motion of the chassis;
- determine a first damping force to be applied by the first damper based on the event;
- cause the first damper to apply the first damping force at the first location of the chassis;
- determine a second damping force to be applied by the second damper based on the event;
- and
- cause the second damper to apply the second damping force at the second location of the chassis, the second damping force applied independently of the first damping force.
A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed, cause at least one processor circuit to:
- identify an event based on data provided by a sensor coupled to a vehicle, the event indicative of a change in motion of a chassis of the vehicle;
- determine a first damping force to be applied by the first damper based on the event;
- cause the first damper to apply the first damping force at the first location of the chassis;
- determine a second damping force to be applied by the second damper based on the event;
- and
- cause the second damper to apply the second damping force at the second location of the chassis, the second damping force applied independently of the first damping force.
A method to stabilize a vehicle chassis, the method comprising:
- identifying an event based on data provided by a sensor coupled to a vehicle, the event indicative of a change in motion of a chassis of the vehicle;
- determining a first damping force to be applied by the first damper based on the event;
- causing the first damper to apply the first damping force at the first location of the chassis;
- determining a second damping force to be applied by the second damper based on the event;
- and
- causing the second damper to apply the second damping force at the second location of the chassis, the second damping force applied independently of the first damping force.
