Abstract
The combination of a non-pneumatic tire and wheel has an outer annular wheel assembly, consisting of first and second outer wheel sections, and an inner hub assembly for attachment to a vehicle. The outer annular wheel assembly and inner hub assembly have axially and radially uniformly positioned connectors or hooks thereabout. A second plurality of elastomeric spokes are interposed between paired connectors of the outer annular wheel assembly and inner hub assembly in tensioned engagement. The elastomeric spokes extend between paired hooks or connectors in either a radial pattern or a crisscross lace pattern.

A non-pneumatic tire and wheel, comprising:
- an outer annular wheel assembly;
- an inner hub assembly for attachment to an axle of a vehicle;
- and
- a plurality of elastic spokes in tensioned interconnection between said outer annular wheel assembly and said inner hub assembly.
A non-pneumatic tire and wheel, comprising:
- an outer annular wheel assembly comprising first and second outer wheel sections;
- an inner hub assembly for attachment to a vehicle;
- said outer annular wheel assembly and inner hub assembly being characterized by axially and radially uniformly positioned connectors;
- and
- a plurality of elastomeric spokes in tensioned engagement between paired connectors of said outer annular wheel assembly and inner hub assembly.
