Abstract
A liquid conveyance device includes a flow path, a pump, a liquid leakage detection portion, a pump power supply circuit, and a latch circuit. The liquid leakage detection portion detects leakage of the liquid in the flow path and in the pump, and outputs a liquid leakage detection signal. The pump power supply circuit turns on and off a power supply for the pump. The latch circuit receives and holds the liquid leakage detection signal, and transmits the liquid leakage detection signal to the pump power supply circuit so as to cause the pump power supply circuit to turn off the power supply for the pump.

A liquid conveyance device comprising:
- a flow path through which liquid flows;
- a pump that is connected to the flow path and that causes the liquid to move within the flow path;
- a liquid leakage detection portion that detects leakage of the liquid in the flow path and in the pump and that outputs a liquid leakage detection signal;
- a pump power supply circuit that turns on and off a power supply for the pump;
- and
- a latch circuit that receives and holds the liquid leakage detection signal and that transmits the liquid leakage detection signal to the pump power supply circuit so as to cause the pump power supply circuit to turn off the power supply for the pump.
