Maintenance system for inkjet heads and electronic apparatus

A maintenance system for inkjet heads, comprising:

• a wiper which absorbs residual ink remaining on the inkjet heads;
• a plurality of blotters which presses the wiper against nozzle surfaces of the inkjet heads;
• a second sensor which acquires an image of the wiper;
• and
• a controller which periodically performs position compensation of the plurality of blotters based on deviations in an amount of ink absorbed by the wiper.

An electronic apparatus, comprising:

• a display device which displays an image and includes a substrate and a pattern formed on the substrate by inkjet heads;
• and
• a processor which transmits an image data signal and an input control signal to the display device,
• wherein the inkjet heads are maintained by a maintenance system,
• wherein the maintenance system comprises:
• a wiper which absorbs residual ink remaining on nozzle surfaces of the inkjet heads;
• a plurality of blotters which presses the wiper against the nozzle surfaces;
• and
• a controller which periodically performs position compensation of the plurality of blotters in a direction to reduce a gap deviation between the inkjet heads and the plurality of blotters.
