Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a pair of three-lead screw elements for a multi-shaft screw machine having screw shafts rotating in the same direction and at the same speed. The two screw elements of the pair of screw elements according to the disclosure, opposing each other directly adjacently on two directly adjacent screw shafts, are mutually cleaned in a practical manner. The present disclosure also relates to the use of the pair of screw elements in a multi-shaft screw machine, to a multi-shaft screw machine equipped with a pair of screw elements, and to a method for extruding plastic or viscoelastic compounds using the pair of screw elements.
