Abstract
A gripper for laundry items, and gripper end caps for grippers, which make it possible to achieve a gentle and cost-effective handling of the laundry items. This is achieved by the fact that grippers have gripping elements or gripping fingers for gripping laundry items. By pivoting these gripping fingers, the laundry items are clamped and can then be moved. Gripper end caps are arranged on these gripping fingers. The gripper end caps consist essentially of a body having a wave-like contour which extends at least partly around the body. By pivoting the gripping fingers, two gripper end caps are moved toward one another and a laundry item is clamped between them.
