Abstract
This storage device comprises a housing, a container, and a cover. The housing accommodates the container for storing machining chips. Formed in the housing are: an opening for taking out the container; and an input port that is in communication with a separation device and is different from the opening.

A storage device that stores machining chips separated by a separation device configured to separate, from a liquid, the machining chips contained in the liquid, the storage device comprising:
- a container configured to store the machining chips;
- a housing configured to accommodate the container, the housing including:
- an opening through which the container is taken out;
- and an input port communicating with the separation device and different from the opening;
- and
- a cover configured to cover the opening.
