Abstract
A casting moldincludes a plurality of partial molds and an engagement structure configured to bring the plurality of partial molds into engagement with a mold body. Between adjacent partial molds, a mold gap is provided to allow deformation of the partial molds due to thermal expansion during casting. The engagement structure brings the mold body and the partial molds into engagement with each other in a manner so that the mold gap becomes smaller as the partial molds thermally expand.

A casting mold including a first mold and a second mold that are movable relative to each other, wherein at least one of the first mold and the second mold includes a mold body and a plurality of partial molds mounted to the mold body, the casting mold comprising
- an engagement structure configured to bring each of the plurality of partial molds into engagement with the mold body,
- wherein a mold gap is provided between adjacent partial molds of the plurality of partial molds to allow deformation of the partial molds due to thermal expansion during casting, and the mold body and the partial molds are engaged with each other via the engagement structure in a manner so that the mold gap becomes smaller as the partial molds thermally expand.
