Tool for removing a blind fastener and associated method

An assembly of a cutting device comprising a cutting member and a removal tool for removing a blind fastener securing a first mechanical part to a second mechanical part, the removal tool being screw-mounted on the cutting device, the blind fastener having been introduced from an upstream to a downstream into an opening in the first part and then into an opening in the second part from an upstream side, the blind fastener extending along a fastening axis, the blind fastener comprising a female part extending into the openings and a male part inserted into the female part in order to deform it to secure the mechanical parts,

• the removal tool comprising:
• an anti-rotation member comprising a passage opening extending along a tool axis and a gripping surface configured to cooperate with the female part of the blind fastener from upstream in order to prevent it from rotating about the fastening axis,
• an interface member connected to the anti-rotation member, the interface member having a main body comprising a through cavity which extends along the tool axis which has an upstream opening configured to receive a cutting device comprising a cutting member, the interface member comprising a connecting portion, a middle portion, an alignment groove and a linking portion, the alignment groove being configured to guide the cutting member into the passage opening of the anti-rotation member, the linking portion, at the downstream end of the interface member, being mechanically connected by screwing to a linking portion of the anti-rotation member, the cutting device being introduced at least partially into the through cavity, the cutting member extending into the alignment groove
• a stabilizing member configured to bear on the first mechanical part, the stabilizing member being positioned between the interface member and the anti-rotation member.
