Abstract
A manipulative device having at least two three-dimensional bodies, each including a magnet and a surface coating of a sound or noise dampening material. The at least two three-dimensional bodies engage or repel each other due to magnetic force from the magnet in each three-dimensional body. The at least two three-dimensional bodies disengage or release from each other due to reduction in magnetic force from the magnet in each three-dimensional body disconnecting when separating the three-dimensional bodies from each other. A method of therapeutic manipulation is provided along with a storage container therefor.
Claims20
A manipulative device comprising:
- at least two three dimensional bodies, each of the at least two three dimensional bodies having a single magnet, the single magnet having a surface;
- the at least two three dimensional bodies comprising a first three dimensional body having a first magnet surface, and a second three dimensional body having a second magnet surface;
- the first three dimensional body being manipulated by a user relative to the second three dimensional body, the first magnet surface attracts the second magnet surface, due to magnetic force, and the at least two three dimensional bodies disengage from each other due to reduction in the magnetic force by physically separating one of the at least two three dimensional bodies from another thereof, each of the at least two three dimensional bodies having a size of about 0.5 inches to about 3.5 inches;
- and
- a sound dampening material having a texture or pattern with a depth and covering the entire magnet surface of the at least two three dimensional bodies to dampen the sound of relative contact between the at least two three dimensional bodies, the sound dampening material having a thickness being from 0.03 to 0.7 inches and the depth being from 0.014 to 0.2 inches.
A manipulative device comprising:
- at least two three dimensional bodies, each of the at least two three dimensional bodies having a surface and a magnet, each of the at least two three dimensional bodies having a size of about 0.5 inches to about 3.5 inches:
- the at least two three dimensional bodies comprising a first three dimensional body having a first surface and a first magnet, and a second three dimensional body having a second surface and a second magnet;
- the first three dimensional body being manipulated by a user relative to the second three dimensional body, the first surface contacts the second surface, and the at least two three dimensional bodies hold on to each other due to magnetic force from the magnet in each three dimensional body of the at least two three dimensional bodies, and the at least two three dimensional bodies disengage from each other due to reduction in the magnetic force by physically separating one of the at least two three dimensional bodies from another thereof;
- a sound dampening material having a texture or pattern with a depth and covering the entire surface of the at least two three dimensional bodies to dampen the sound of relative contact between the at least two three dimensional bodies and comprising a first sound dampening material covering forming a first raised or recessed pattern or texture on the first surface, the sound dampening material having a thickness being from 0.03 to 0.7 inches and the depth being from 0.014 to 0.2 inches.
