Abstract
An information processing system controls drive of a vibration motor in accordance with vibration instructions from an application program, determines restriction under a first condition and restriction under a second condition, restricts vibration of the vibration motor when at least one of the first condition or the second condition is satisfied, and notifies a user of restriction of vibration of the vibration motor in a manner different between when the first condition is satisfied and when the second condition is satisfied.
Claims20
An information processing system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more memories having stored therein instructions that, when executed, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising
- controlling drive of a vibration motor in accordance with vibration instructions from an application program,
- determining whether a first condition is satisfied and whether a second condition is satisfied,
- restricting vibration of the vibration motor when at least one of the first condition or the second condition is satisfied, and
- providing a user with a notification of restriction of vibration of the vibration motor in a manner different between when the first condition is satisfied and when the second condition is satisfied.
One or more non-transitory computer-readable media having stored therein a game program that, when executed, causes an information processing system to perform operations comprising:
- controlling drive of a vibration motor in accordance with vibration instructions from an application program;
- determining whether a first condition is satisfied and whether a second condition is satisfied;
- restricting vibration of the vibration motor when at least one of the first condition or the second condition is satisfied;
- and
- providing a user with a notification of restriction of vibration of the vibration motor in a manner different between when the first condition is satisfied and when the second condition is satisfied.
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- driving a vibration motor in accordance with vibration instructions from an application program;
- making determination as to whether a first condition is satisfied and whether a second condition is satisfied;
- restricting vibration of the vibration motor when at least one of the first condition or the second condition is satisfied;
- and
- providing a user with a notification of restriction of vibration of the vibration motor, together with a reason based on the determination.
