Abstract
A system for generating a putter fitting recommendation includes a processor; and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations including: measuring putter movement data and/or ball data for each of a plurality of putts taken with a putter on a putting surface.
Claims20
A system for generating a putter fitting recommendation, said system comprising:
- a camera configured to capture putter movement data and ball shot data for a putt;
- and
- a computing device communicatively coupled to said camera, said computing device comprising:
- at least one processor, and
- a memory storing instructions that, when executed by said at least one processor, cause said system to perform operations comprising:
- measuring, by said camera, putter movement data and ball shot data for each of a first plurality of putts taken with a first putter on a putting surface;
- plotting, by said at least one processor, an initial aim angle of a face of said first putter relative to a target versus a face angle change of said face of said first putter, said face angle change being a difference between said initial aim angle and an angle of said face of said first putter relative to said target at impact with a golf ball;
- and
- generating, based on said plotting, a putter recommendation.

A system for generating a putter fitting recommendation, said system comprising:
- a computing device comprising:
- at least one processor, and
- a memory storing instructions that, when executed by said at least one processor, cause said system to perform operations comprising:
- measuring putter movement data for each of a first plurality of putts taken with a first putter on a putting surface;
- and
- measuring putter movement data for each of a second plurality of putts taken with a second putter on said putting surface,
- wherein said putter movement data includes an initial aim angle and a face angle change.
