Abstract
An exercise assembly with cantilevered arm having at least 360° rotation that includes a lower housing having a lower wall, an upper housing rotatably coupled to, and operably configured to rotate 360° relative to, the lower housing with a selectively controlled degree of rotational resistance, an arm coupled to the upper housing in a cantilevered configuration with a raised arm length separating the arm and the lower wall of the lower housing, and a user support member coupled to the arm and operably configured to revolve in an exercise path around upper housing and the lower housing with the raised arm length being substantially uniform so a user can exercise effectively and safely.
Claims18
An exercise assembly with cantilevered arm having 360° rotation comprising:
- a lower housing having a lower wall;
- an upper housing rotatably coupled to, and operably configured to rotate 360° relative to, the lower housing with a selectively controlled degree of rotational resistance;
- an arm coupled to the upper housing in a cantilevered configuration with a raised arm length separating the arm and the lower wall of the lower housing;
- and
- a user support member coupled to the arm and operably configured to revolve in an exercise path around upper housing and the lower housing with the raised arm length being substantially uniform.
An exercise assembly with cantilevered arm having 360° rotation comprising:
- an assembly housing with a lower surface configured to support the assembly housing on a ground surface, with a fixed cylindrical shaft disposed within the assembly housing, with at least one brake member coupled to at least one fastener operably configured to selectively cause the at least one brake member to apply frictional resistance against an outer surface of the cylindrical shaft;
- an arm coupled to the assembly housing in a cantilevered configuration with a raised arm length separating the arm and the lower surface of the assembly housing;
- and
- a user support member coupled to the arm and operably configured to revolve, about a shaft axis defined by the cylindrical shaft, in an exercise path at least 360° around cylindrical shaft with the raised arm length being substantially uniform and with a selectively controlled degree of rotational resistance caused by the at least one brake member against the outer surface of the cylindrical shaft.
