Abstract
A weightlifting device is disclosed to allow users to perform two-handed exercises with weightlifting objects that typically only have space for one hand. Various embodiments include a locking mechanism utilizing either magnets, clamps, or set screws. These embodiments all have an open position, where the user can set a weightlifting object, such as a dumbbell or barbell, on the device, and a closed position, where the user secures the weightlifting object to the device. Other embodiments include a bar attached to the weightlifting where weights can be placed on the bar. In each embodiment, the user can perform exercises safely and ergonomically by using two handles, instead of having pain or discomfort by trying to fit both hands onto one handle or on an object with no handles.
