Abstract
A hand-held variable-resistance exercise device is disclosed, comprising a bent tubular frame with a first portion serving as a grip and a second portion designed to hold one or more sliding weights. The weights are selectively positioned between snap buttons and produce audible feedback upon movement, ensuring correct exercise completion. The device further includes a D-bracket for attaching resistance bands at multiple positions, allowing progressive resistance adjustments. The design enables progressive loading through both free weights and elastic bands, making it suitable for strength training, rehabilitation, and mobility restoration.
Claims20
A handheld variable-resistance exercise device, comprising:
- a member including a bend along a length of the member to form a first portion and a second portion, the first portion utilized as a grip, and the second portion to selectively receive one or more weights, the one or more weights slidingly engaged to the second portion;
- and
- a first stopper and a second stopper to restrict movement of the weights, wherein sliding the one or more weights along the second member causes an audible feedback upon the one or more weights contacting the first stopper or the second stopper.
A handheld variable-resistance exercise device, comprising:
- a member including a bend along a length of the member to form a first portion and a second portion, the first portion utilized as a grip, and the second portion to selectively receive one or more weights, the one or more weights slidingly engaged to the second portion;
- a first stopper and a second stopper to restrict movement of the weights, wherein sliding the one or more weights along the second member causes an audible feedback upon the one or more weights contacting the first stopper or the second stopper;
- and
- a resistance band selectively attached to the first portion to increase resistance during an exercise routine.
