Abstract
A radiotherapy machine includes an X-ray target assembly configured to convert an electron beam into an X-ray beam, the X-ray target assembly including, a first target configured to disperse at least a portion of the electron beam, and a second target configured to convert the portion of the electron beam into the X-ray beam, a thickness of the second target being greater than a thickness of the first target.

A radiotherapy system comprising:
- an X-ray target assembly configured to convert an electron beam into an X-ray beam, the X-ray target assembly including,
- a first target configured to disperse at least a portion of the electron beam, and
- a second target configured to convert the portion of the electron beam into the X-ray beam, a thickness of the second target being greater than a thickness of the first target.
An X-ray target assembly configured to convert an electron beam into an X-ray beam, the X-ray target assembly comprising:
- a first target configured to disperse at least a portion of the electron beam;
- and
- a second target configured to convert the portion of the electron beam into the X-ray beam, a thickness of the second target being greater than a thickness of the first target.
