Function-guided radiation therapy plan generation method, apparatus, electronic device and program product

Abstract

Method, apparatus, electronic device and program product of function-guided radiation therapy (RT) plan generation useful to medical treatment for a target user are provided. In the method, anatomical data and functional data corresponding to the target user are acquired. The anatomical data at least models an anatomical structure of a tumor target volume and organ(s) at risk of the target user. The functional data models a distribution condition of a lung function of the target user. A target dose distribution is determined according to the anatomical data and the functional data. A function-guided RT plan for the target user is then generated based on the target dose distribution. Advantageously, using function-guided RT plan can reduce the chance of radiation pneumonia and improve the effect of RT.
