Disclosed is a vasopneumatic photobiomodulation (PBM) vest that extends the treatment system by adding thoracic and abdominal coverage to the head/neck/face transcranial garment and intraoral device already claimed. The vest integrates: (1) five-cell sequential vasopneumatic compression targeting the thoracic lymphatic network; (2) a tri-wavelength LED and laser diode array (660 nm, 850 nm, and 1064 nm) delivering photobiomodulation across the chest and abdomen; and (3) a rechargeable lithium polymer battery system providing approximately three hours of continuous operation. The vest is designed to complement and extend the glymphatic/lymphatic drainage system disclosed in the parent application, treating the same neurodegenerative disease indications, particularly Alzheimer's disease.
A system for treating neurodegenerative diseases involving accumulation of abnormal proteins in the central nervous system (CNS), the system comprising a vest, wherein the vest comprises a vasopneumatic compression system and a photobiomodulation system, the vest configured to exert vasopneumatic compression and photobiomodulation on a user's torso and abdomen to stimulate the user's lymphatic system and enhance the flow of lymphatic fluid towards the user's subclavian lymphatic pathway.
A system for treating neurodegenerative diseases involving accumulation of abnormal proteins in the central nervous system (CNS), the system comprising:
