Abstract
A clip device is provided, which is configured to removably attach to a body part of a human or animal user. The clip is of an elastomeric, silicone-based material, and the material is configured to absorb an oil to infuse the clip with the oil. The oil is to be applied to a user through the clip when the clip is attached to the body part of the user. In some instances, the clip device is adapted to connect to the nose of the user by way of the user's nostrils.
Claims20
A device comprising:
- a nasal ring diffuser comprising:
- a partial ring segment with two ends, wherein each of the two ends comprises a respective spherical knob, each of the spherical knobs comprises a solid sphere of silicone material, and each of the spherical knobs is to be at least partially inserted into a respective nostril of a nose of a user to secure the nasal ring diffuser to the nose of the user, wherein the nasal ring diffuser has an open circular ring shape of a constant radius and a continuous circular curvature extending through greater than 270 degrees, wherein a surface of at least one of the spherical knobs comprises a dimple impression on the surface, the open circular ring shape comprises an opening formed by a distance between the two spherical knobs when the nasal ring diffuser is at rest, and the spherical knobs and partial ring segment are unitarily formed of a solid unitary silicone material configured to (i) absorb oil into the two spherical knobs and the partial ring segment and (ii) springload the partial ring segment to cause the two spherical knobs to grip the septum of the nose of the user when in use, and
- wherein the silicone material of the two spherical knobs and the partial ring segment is infused with an oil through absorption of the oil into the silicone material based on a durometer of the silicone material,
- wherein the oil comprises a volatile oil and evaporates at a temperature less than 95 degrees Fahrenheit, and the volatile oil is to volatize from the silicone material of the nasal ring diffuser and enter the nose of the user when the nasal ring diffuser is attached to the nose of the user, and the spherical knobs and the partial ring segment of the nasal ring diffuser are configured to absorb and retain the oil from an external source when the nasal ring diffuser is placed in the external source to repeatedly recharge the nasal ring diffuser with oil.

A method comprising:
- depositing a ring-shaped nasal ring diffuser device in an airtight container, wherein the nasal ring diffuser device is to removably attach to a human nose, and the nasal ring diffuser device comprises a partial ring segment with two ends, wherein each of the two ends comprises a respective spherical knob, and each of the spherical knobs comprises a solid sphere of silicone material, wherein the nasal ring diffuser device has an open circular ring shape of a constant radius and a continuous circular curvature extending through greater than 270 degrees, wherein a surface of at least one of the spherical knobs comprises a dimple impression on the surface, the open circular ring shape comprises an opening formed by a distance between the two spherical knobs when the nasal ring diffuser device is at rest, and the spherical knobs and partial ring segment are unitarily formed of a solid unitary silicone material configured to (i) absorb oil into the two spherical knobs and the partial ring segment and (ii) springload the partial ring segment to cause the two spherical knobs to grip the septum of the human nose when in use;
- depositing oil within the container, wherein the oil comprises a volatile oil and evaporates at a temperature less than 95 degrees Fahrenheit;
- and
- temporarily sealing the container with the nasal ring diffuser device and the oil, wherein the nasal ring diffuser device absorbs at least a portion of the oil while the nasal ring diffuser device and the oil are within the container.
1 more element
A system comprising:
- an air-tight sealable container, wherein an amount of essential oil is contained within the container;
- and
- a nasal ring diffuser comprising:
- a partial ring segment with two ends, wherein each of the two ends comprises a respective spherical knob, each of the spherical knobs comprises a solid sphere of silicone material, and each of the spherical knobs is to be at least partially inserted into a respective nostril of a nose of a user to secure the nasal ring diffuser to the nose of the user, wherein the nasal ring diffuser has an open circular ring shape of a constant radius and a continuous circular curvature extending through greater than 270 degrees, wherein a surface of at least one of the spherical knobs comprises a dimple impression on the surface, the open circular ring shape comprises an opening formed by a distance between the two spherical knobs when the nasal ring diffuser is at rest, and the spherical knobs and partial ring segment are unitarily formed of a solid unitary silicone material configured to (i) absorb the essential oil from the container into the two spherical knobs and the partial ring segment and (ii) springload the partial ring segment to cause the two spherical knobs to grip the septum of the nose of the user when in use, and
- wherein the silicone material of the two spherical knobs and the partial ring segment is infused with an oil through absorption of the oil into the silicone material based on a durometer of the silicone material,
- wherein the oil comprises a volatile oil and evaporates at a temperature less than 95 degrees Fahrenheit, and the volatile oil is to volatize from the silicone material of the nasal ring diffuser and enter the nose of the user when the nasal ring diffuser is attached to the nose of the user, and the spherical knobs and the partial ring segment of the nasal ring diffuser are configured to reabsorb oil to repeatedly recharge the nasal ring diffuser with oil.
