Abstract
A food product composition includes an active ingredient comprising a food allergen protein and one or more inactive ingredients comprising food-based ingredients. The food product requires no mixing prior to consumption, and the food product is substantially free of anti-caking agents and filling agents. The food product comprises a predefined dosage of the active ingredient, and the predefined dosage is within about 10% of a stated weight of the food allergen protein.

A food product composition comprising:
- an active ingredient comprising a food allergen protein;
- one or more inactive ingredients comprising food-based ingredients,
- wherein the food product requires no mixing prior to consumption,
- wherein the food product is substantially free of anti-caking agents and filling agents,
- wherein the food product comprises a predefined dosage of the active ingredient, and
- wherein the predefined dosage is within about 20% of a stated weight of the food allergen protein.
A method of treating or preventing a food allergy in a subject comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a food product composition comprising a food allergen protein as an active ingredient and one or more food-based ingredients as inactive ingredients, wherein the food product composition requires no mixing prior to consumption and comprises a predefined dosage of the food allergen protein.
