Abstract
To provide an irritation relieving agent that has high safety and excellent irritation suppressing ability. The irritation relieving agent is characterized by comprising a sulfated polysaccharide salt that has a sulfate group in at least one saccharide unit structure, and in which the sulfate group forms a salt with a monovalent cation.
Claims8
An irritation relieving agent comprising a sulfated polysaccharide salt having a sulfate group in at least one saccharide unit structure, the sulfate group forming a salt with a monovalent cation.
A method for producing an irritation relieving agent, comprising:
- dissolving Funori powder in water to prepare an aqueous Funori solution;
- adding a monovalent cation to the aqueous Funori solution and heating;
- and
- fractionating the aqueous solution after heating by molecular weight fractionation to recover the sulfated polysaccharide salt.
A method for producing an irritation relieving agent, comprising:
- dissolving Funori powder in water to prepare an aqueous Funori solution;
- adding an acid to the aqueous Funori solution to make it acidic, followed by desalting;
- adding a monovalent cation to the aqueous solution after desalting to neutralize it;
- and fractionating the aqueous solution after neutralization by molecular weight fractionation to recover the sulfated polysaccharide salt.
