Abstract
The present disclosure relates to the use of a food composition comprising, in % by weight, i) at least about 0.05% of nucleotides and ii) at least about 0.1% of oligosaccharides, wherein said oligosaccharides are selected from xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS), fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), and combinations thereof, for improving or preserving mental health in a canine.

A method for preserving or improving mental health in a canine, comprising feeding the canine a food composition comprising, in % by weight, (i) at least about 0.05% nucleotides, (ii) from about 0.1% to about 0.7% of xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS), and (iii) from about 0.3% to about 1% of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS).

A method for preserving or improving mental health in a canine, comprising feeding the canine a food composition comprising, in % by weight, i) at least about 0.05% of nucleotides and ii) at least about 0.1% of oligosaccharides, wherein said oligosaccharides are selected from xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS), fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), and combinations thereof.
