Abstract
A unit dosage composition contains midazolam or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a cyclodextrin, and at least one matrix material. The unit dosage composition can be used in medicine and therapy, in particular in the treatment of febrile seizure, epileptic seizure, such as status epilepticus, fear, such as preoperative anxiolysis to reduce fear, and/or agitation, such as agitation prior to surgery.

A unit dosage composition comprising an oral thin film comprising:
- midazolam, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
- a cyclodextrin;
- and
- at least one matrix material.
