Composition with chitosan and nanometric specific surface treated-mineral pigment

Abstract

The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising, in a physiologically acceptable aqueous medium: a) at least 0.01% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition of native chitosan having a molecular weight strictly greater than 3000 Dalton, this quantity being strictly less than 15% by weight, and b) at least one surface-treated mineral pigment, said pigment having a size less than or equal to 100 nm. It also relates to a process for make-up and/or care of the skin and/or skin appendages, wherein the composition according to the invention is applied on the skin and/or skin appendages.
