Abstract
The present disclosure describes a breast milk and food storage solution that simplifies and reduces the number of items needed to pump, store and/or feed breastmilk to a baby.
Claims20
A liquid storage system comprising:
- a flexible container having an internal volume and comprising:
- a base configured to stably support the container on a support surface;
- walls extending between the base and an upper portion;
- and
- an upper portion comprising
- a mouth of the container defining an opening to the internal volume and tapering outward between the walls and the opening;
- a pair of creases defined between at least two sides of the container;
- surface sealing features defined along an interior surface and at or adjacent the mouth;
- and
- a coupling interface extending along an outer surface and between the pair of creases and at or adjacent the mouth;
- wherein
- in an open configuration, the mouth of the container is open for access to the internal volume;
- in a sealed configuration, the surface sealing features engage to connect the two or more sides of the upper portion to seal the mouth;
- and
- the base operatively supports the flexible container in at least the open configuration.

- a flexible container defining a volume comprising:
- walls;
- a base having a greater thickness than and extending between the walls and configured to stably support the container on a support surface;
- and
- an upper portion comprising:
- a mouth defining an opening to the volume in an open configuration;
- at least one crease defined between at least two of the walls of the container,
- surface sealing features defined along an interior surface and at or adjacent the mouth, the surface sealing features are selectively engagable to seal the opening and define a sealed configuration, and
- a coupling interface extending along an outer surface and at or adjacent the mouth;
- wherein
- the upper portion tapers outward from the walls to the mouth of the container;
- and
- the base defines the bottom of the container and is flat in at least the open configuration.

- a flexible container defining a volume and comprising:

- an upper portion defining an opening to the volume and that is resiliently deformable between a storage configuration and an open configuration comprising:
- a collar coupling interface;
- a clamp coupling interface extending along an exterior;

- a sealing interface extending along an interior to selectively seal the volume;
- a collar to selectively couple with the collar coupling interface;
- a clamp to selectively couple with the clamp coupling interface;
- wherein
- the clamp is selectively engageable with the clamp coupling interface to transition the flexible container to the storage configuration;
- and
- the collar is made from a material more rigid than the flexible container and configured to be removably coupled to the container for connection to an accessory for filling the flexible container.
