Systems and Methods for an Endoluminal Prosthesis having a Constrictive Sleeve Member

A stent graft, comprising:

• a framework including a helical section, a woven section, and a transitional section between the helical section and the woven section, wherein:
• the framework consists of a single nitinol wire and three wire welds;
• the wire is formed into each section of the helical section, the woven section, and the transitional section of the framework;
• and
• the three wire welds are respectively distributed about the helical section, the woven section, and the transitional section of the framework to maintain a topology of the framework;
• three tantalum markers crimped onto the framework approximately equidistant from each other around an end portion of the helical section opposite the transitional section of the framework;
• another three tantalum markers crimped onto the framework approximately equidistant from each other around an end portion of the woven section opposite the transitional section of the framework;
• a graft including an inner graft member and an outer graft member encapsulating at least the helical section of the framework, wherein:
• the inner graft member consists essentially of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (“ePTFE”) impregnated with carbon for reduced thrombogenicity;
• and
• the outer graft member consists essentially of ePTFE without carbon impregnated therein;
• and
• a tungsten radiopaque marker band around the transitional section of the framework, wherein the tungsten radiopaque marker band is printed as discrete squares on a ring member disposed between the framework and the outer graft member of the graft;
• and
• a constrictive sleeve shorter in length than the graft, approximately centered over the graft, and coupled to the outer graft member of the graft exclusively by an interference fit, wherein:
• the constrictive sleeve includes an unsintered ePTFE tube, a first layer of unsintered ePTFE membrane, and a second layer of unsintered ePTFE membrane;
• and
• the constrictive sleeve is configured to resist radial expansion of the stent graft over the length of the stent graft commensurate with the constrictive sleeve until radially expanded in vivo with an elongate balloon.
