Modular kit for providing guiding devices

A modular kit for providing guiding devices for processing steps on oral tissue of a patient's jaw, wherein the kit comprises, as a common base for the guiding devices, a positioning splint in the form of a patient-specific bite splint with a recess which is designed to expose an area of the patient's jaw when the bite splint is placed on the patient's jaw,

• wherein the kit further comprises sets of at least one exchangeable patient-specific guiding insert each, wherein the guiding inserts of the individual sets are positionable at predefined positions relative to the patient's jaw by insertion into the recess of the bite splint, wherein each of the sets of guiding inserts is each assigned to one of the processing steps, and the guiding insert of the corresponding set, when inserted, is configured to provide guidance for one or more instruments in the course of the processing step to which the corresponding set is assigned,
• wherein the bite splint is reconfigurable by exchanging the one or more guiding inserts of one of the sets assigned to one of the processing steps, which are arranged in the recess, with the one or more guiding inserts of another one of the sets, which is assigned to another one of the processing steps, from a configuration as a guiding device for the one processing step into another guiding device for the other processing step.
