Abstract
Provided are surgical instruments, and more particularly, surgical instruments that may be manually operated to perform laparoscopic operations or various surgical operations.
Claims20
A surgical instrument comprising:
- an operator configured to control an operation of an end tool;
- and
- a connector having a first end and a second end, the first end being coupled to the end tool, the second end being coupled to the operator to connect the operator and the end tool,
- wherein the operator comprises:
- a case;
- a first operating pulley and a second operating pulley mounted in the case;
- a first operating wire coupled to the first operating pulley;
- a second operating wire coupled to the second operating pulley;
- a first pulley disposed on the case and configured to guide the first operating wire toward the connector, the first operating wire extending from the first operating pulley and being wound around the first pulley;
- and
- a second pulley disposed on the case and configured to guide the second operating wire toward the connector, the second operating wire extending from the second operating pulley and being wound around the second pulley,
- wherein the first operating wire extends from the first operating pulley and is redirected by the first pulley in a direction of a rotation axis of the first operating pulley.

- an end tool configured to rotate in at least two directions;
- an operator configured to control an operation of the end tool;

- a connector having a first end and a second end, the first end being coupled to the end tool, the second end being coupled to the operator to connect the operator and the end tool,
- wherein the operator comprises:
- a case;
- a first operating pulley and a second operating pulley mounted in the case;
- a first operating wire coupled to the first operating pulley;
- a second operating wire coupled to the second operating pulley;
- a first pulley disposed on the case and configured to guide the first operating wire toward the connector, the first operating wire extending from the first operating pulley and being wound around the first pulley;
- and
- a second pulley disposed on the case and configured to guide the second operating wire toward the connector, the second operating wire extending from the second operating pulley and being wound around the second pulley,
- wherein the first operating wire extends from the first operating pulley and is redirected by the first pulley in an extension direction of the connector.
