Abstract
The invention relates to a device for connection to a medical instrument for capturing vibroacoustic signals, wherein the device comprises a signal capturing device (4) with a coupling element (4a) for connecting a medical instrument (2), at least one sensor (4c) for capturing vibroacoustic signals, an analog-to-digital conversion (4e) for converting the analog signals captured by the at least one sensor into digital data, a controller (4f) and a communication unit (4g) for data exchange. The invention also relates to a computer-implemented method for evaluating the vibroacoustic signals.

Device for connection to a medical instrument for capturing vibroacoustic signals, wherein the device comprises a signal capturing device (4) with a coupling element (4a) for connecting a medical instrument (2), at least one sensor (4c) for capturing vibroacoustic signals, an analog-to-digital conversion (4e) for converting the analog signals captured by the at least one sensor into digital data, a controller (4f) and a communication unit (4g) for data exchange.
A computer-implemented method for processing and evaluating vibroacoustic signals, comprising the following steps:
- (0) Providing an existing digitized vibroacoustic signal;
- (I) Signal pre-processing of the vibroacoustic signal (5a);
- and
- (II) Identification of segments/regions of interest (5b);
- and
- (III) Audification (5d);
- and/or (5c)
- (IV) Classification of the segments/regions of interest (5e).
