Abstract
An antenna arrangement in particular for radar measurements, that can be used close to the body, e.g., stuck to the skin. The antenna arrangement has a particularly reduced radiation into free space.
Claims18
An antenna arrangement for electromagnetic waves in a near-body application, wherein the antenna arrangement is designed to be attached with its bottom side onto a skin surface of a person, wherein the antenna arrangement comprises:
- a two-dimensionally extended carrier structure
- one or more conductor structures that are attached to the carrier structure and that are configured to emit electromagnetic waves, and
- one or more absorber elements which are attached to the carrier structure and which are configured to cause a radiation pattern of the electromagnetic waves that is asymmetrical with respect to the bottom side and a top side of the antenna arrangement opposite the bottom side.
