Foldable mop head

Abstract

The invention relates to a foldable mop head comprising: (a) a mop frame comprising two frame sections, (b) a mop frame folding mechanism configured to facilitate coplanar folding of the two frame sections between two or more selectable angular folding positions within the plane of the unfolded mop frame, and (c) a mop stick coupler configured to receive a mop stick, wherein the mop frame folding mechanism comprises a pivotal joint by which the frame sections rotatably engage, and a releasable locking arrangement configured to restrict relative rotation between the frame sections and thereby stably maintain a selected folding position therebetween, while the releasable locking arrangement is operable to disengage so as to permit rotational shifting of the frame sections between two or more selectable angular folding positions.
