Abstract
A straining device for a cooking appliance includes: at least one straining body having at least two passages for draining liquid; and at least one locking device by which at least the at least one straining body is lockable in the cooking appliance at at least one section of the cooking appliance in an installed state. At least one passage includes a hole. At least one passage includes an embossment.

A straining device for a cooking appliance, comprising:
- at least one straining body having at least two passages configured to drain liquid;
- and
- at least one locking device by which at least the at least one straining body is lockable in the cooking appliance at at least one section of the cooking appliance in an installed state,
- wherein at least one passage comprises a hole, and
- wherein at least one passage comprises an embossment.
