Abstract

An adjustable bed accessory set that includes a bed skirt, a fitted top sheet, and a gap cover, each configured for use with an adjustable bed having a mattress, a bed frame, and a headboard is disclosed. The bed skirt comprises one or more fabric panels with loop-type fasteners along an upper edge for tool-free attachment to corresponding or aligning hook-type fasteners affixed to the adjustable bed frame. The fitted top sheet includes a lower pocket portion adapted to slide over a foot-end region of the mattress and an upper non-fitted portion that remains drapable. The gap cover is formed of a pliable fabric body with loop-type fasteners disposed along adjoining edges for attachment to hook-type fasteners on the mattress and headboard, thereby bridging a gap formed during mattress inclination. Each component may be independently or collectively installed and removed.

Dependent claims

An adjustable bed accessory set comprising:

a bed accessories set having a bed skirt, a fitted top sheet, and a gap cover;
wherein said bed skirt extending from a lateral lower edge of a mattress of the adjustable bed downward to obscure a stationary bed frame structure;
wherein said bed skirt having a plurality of fabric panels wherein each fabric panel of said plurality of fabric panels covering a specific side of the stationary bed frame structure;
wherein said each fabric panel having a loop fastener band material sewn to an upper edge of said each fabric panel;
wherein the stationary bed frame structure having an outer perimeter of a hook fastener band affixed thereto for removably engaging said loop fastener band material;
wherein said fitted top sheet having a textile panel shape dimensioned to align to a rectilinear sleeping surface of the mattress;
wherein said fitted top sheet having a non-fitted upper portion drapable over a user's body enabling ingress and egress from the adjustable bed without dislodging said fitted top sheet;
wherein said fitted top sheet having a lower portion including an elastic pocket formation adapted to slide over and enclose a foot-end region of the mattress;
wherein said elastic pocket formation stretchable for a secure fit of said fitted top sheet;
wherein said gap cover bridges a space formed between a head end of the mattress and a headboard when the adjustable bed is inclined;
and
further wherein said gap cover having a pliable fabric body to cover the space formed between the head end of the mattress and the headboard.

wherein said gap cover having a pliable fabric body to cover the space formed between the head end of the mattress and the headboard;
and
further wherein said lower portion of said fitted top sheet encloses at least 24 inches of the foot-end region of the mattress.

wherein said lower portion of said fitted top sheet encloses at least 24 inches of the foot-end region of the mattress;
and
further wherein said gap cover extends vertically along the headboard and horizontally along the mattress.
