Abstract
The present disclosure in general relates to body supporting systems and devices such as mattress, chair, car seat, etc., and their operating methods, and in particular to body supporting systems and devices with adjustable firmness, and related operating methods and firmness adjusting devices.
Claims15
A method to determine a baseline profile for adjusting firmness or height or sag of a body support device, comprising:
- having a body be supported by the body support device in a first body position;
- and
- obtaining a sensor sense or compression/decompression or sag profile of the body support device while the body is in the first body position, as the baseline profile, wherein the firmness or height or sag of at least a portion of the body support device is configurable to be adjusted based on the baseline profile when the body is being supported by the body support device in a second body position.
