Multifunctional comb and method of treating scalp using the same

A multifunctional comb, comprising:

• a first rotating arm comprising a plurality of first comb teeth;
• and
• a second rotating arm comprising a plurality of second comb teeth;
• at least one functional piece in the first rotating arm or the second rotating arm;
• wherein the second rotating arm is rotatably connected to the first rotating arm to allow the multifunctional comb to transition between a folded state and an open state;
• wherein in the folded state, the second rotating arm is folded relative to the first rotating arm, and in the open state, the second rotating arm is rotated away from the first rotating arm, and
• wherein the at least one functional piece is configured to provide stimulation therapy to the scalp and is activated upon detecting that the multifunctional comb is in the open state.

A method of treating a scalp using a multifunctional comb, the method comprising:

• unfolding the multifunctional comb from a folded state to an open state, wherein the multifunctional comb comprises a first rotating arm and a second rotating arm, wherein the first rotating arm is rotatably connected to the second rotating arm;
• applying a plurality of first comb teeth of the first rotating arm and a plurality of second comb teeth of the second rotating arm to the scalp;
• dispensing a liquid from a reservoir chamber in the first rotating arm through a plurality of liquid guide columns toward the scalp;
• and
• activating a light source disposed on a lamp board within the second rotating arm, wherein in the open state of the comb activates the light source to provide phototherapy to the scalp, and upon detection of the folded state, a UV light activates to disinfect or sterilize the multifunctional comb.
