Abstract
A headwrap containing a sleeve containing a hair retaining portion, a fastening system, and a fastener adapted to contain a ponytail of the user.
Claims20
A head wrap comprising:
- a stretchable fabric sleeve having a first open end and a second open end adapted to be fit over a user's head at either end;
- a hair-retaining portion of said stretchable fabric sleeve containing at least one vertically-oriented passageway;
- and
- a loop slidable within said at least one vertically-oriented passageway, said loop having an exposed segment able to be wrapped one or more times around hair of a wearer to form a ponytail.

The head wrap according to claim I further having a band extending around a lower end of said sleeve when worn.
The head wrap of claim I wherein said loop is a ribbon that may be tied to form the ponytail.
The head wrap of claim I wherein said loop may be a loop having a first end, and, a second end removably fastened to said first end.
The head wrap of claim I further comprising.
- a first slot that is adapted to be vertically aligned with the loop when said head wrap is in use, wherein bair of the user may be pulled through the slot and through the loop.
A head wrap comprising:
- a stretchable fabric sleeve having a first open end and a second open end adapted to be fit over a user's head at either end;
- a hair-retaining portion of said stretchable fabric sleeve containing at least one vertically-oriented passageway;
- a loop slidable and retained within said at least one vertically-oriented passageway, said loop having an exposed segment able to be wrapped one or more times around hair of a wearer to form a ponytail;
- a first slot that is adapted to be vertically aligned with the loop when said head wrap is in use, wherein hair of the user may be pulled through the slot and through the loop;
- and
- a second slot that is adapted to be vertically aligned with the loop and the first slot when said head wrap is in use, wherein hair of the user may be pulled through the first slot and/or the second slot, and the loop,
- wherein said loop orients the ponytail at a relatively higher or lower point on the user's head when the head wrap is in use.
