Abstract
An edge-connecting structure of luggage includes first and second case bodies, each having a case edge, and first and second edge-connecting members each including a case-connecting piece joined with one of the case edges, a connecting piece connected with the case-connecting piece, and a zipper-connecting piece forming a case-connecting groove accommodating the case-connecting piece. Each edge-connecting member is equipped with a zipper slider, with the toothed portions of both sliders engageable with each other to secure the connection. Joining units assemble the case edges, edge-connecting members, and zipper sliders into a stable and easily installable structure. The structure enhances edge stability, improves structural strength, and simplifies installation.

An edge-connecting structure of a luggage, comprising:
- a first case body having a first case edge;
- a second case body having a second case edge corresponding to the first case edge of the first case body;
- a first edge-connecting member comprising a first case-connecting piece joined with the first case edge of the first case body, a first connecting piece connected with the first case-connecting piece, a first zipper-connecting piece connected with the first connecting piece and forming a first case-connecting groove with the first case-connecting piece, the first case-connecting groove accommodating the first case edge of the first case body, a first cover piece connected with the first zipper-connecting piece and forming a first zipper-connecting groove with the first zipper-connecting piece, and a first stopper block connected with the first connecting piece;
- a second edge-connecting member comprising a second case-connecting piece joined with the second case edge of the second case body, a second connecting piece connected with the second case-connecting piece, a second zipper-connecting piece connected with the second connecting piece and forming a second case-connecting groove with the second case-connecting piece, the second case-connecting groove accommodating the second case edge of the second case body, a second cover piece connected with the second zipper-connecting piece and forming a second zipper-connecting groove with the second zipper-connecting piece, and a second stopper block connected with the second connecting piece;
- a first zipper slider comprising a first zipper tape accommodated within the first zipper-connecting groove, joined with the first zipper-connecting piece of the first edge-connecting member, and corresponding to the first stopper block, and a first zipper toothed portion provided on the first zipper tape;
- a second zipper slider comprising a second zipper tape accommodated within the second zipper-connecting groove, joined with the second zipper-connecting piece of the second edge-connecting member, and corresponding to the second stopper block, and a second zipper toothed portion provided on the second zipper tape, the second zipper toothed portion being engageable with the first zipper toothed portion of the first zipper slider;
- and
- two joining units, wherein one of the two joining units joins the first case edge of the first case body, the first case-connecting piece and the first zipper-connecting piece of the first edge-connecting member, and the first zipper tape of the first zipper slider, and the other one of the two joining units joins the second case edge of the second case body, the second case-connecting piece and the second zipper-connecting piece of the second edge-connecting member, and the second zipper tape of the second zipper slider.
