Abstract
A clip handle includes a hollow main clip body. An outer side wall of the main clip body has a side opening and an indented region. The handle has a slide that is slidingly coupled to the inner wall and a clip body that is received within the side opening of the main clip body. The clip body is coupled to the slide and moves between an open position in which a first portion of the clip body is spaced from the outer side wall to allow an object to be hung on the clip body and a closed position. A spring mechanism biases the clip body to the closed position, wherein when the clip body is in the closed position, a spring of the spring mechanism is in an extended position and when the clip body is in the open position, the spring is compressed and stores energy.
Claims11
A clip handle comprising:
- a hollow main clip body including an inner divider wall, wherein an outer side wall of the main clip body has a side opening on a first side of the outer side wall and an indented region on an opposite second side;
- a slide that is slidingly coupled to the inner wall;
- a clip body that is received within the side opening of the main clip body, the clip body being coupled to the slide and moved between an open position in which a first portion of the clip body is spaced from the outer side wall to allow an object to be hung on the clip body and a closed position;
- and
- a spring mechanism that biases the clip body to the closed position, wherein when the clip body is in the closed position, a spring of the spring mechanism is in an extended position and when the clip body is in the open position, the spring is compressed and stores energy.
A clip handle comprising:
- a hollow main clip body including an inner divider wall, wherein an outer side wall of the main clip body has a side opening on a first side of the outer side wall;
- a slide that is slidingly coupled to the inner wall;
- a clip body that is received within the side opening of the main clip body, the clip body being coupled to the slide and, upon application of a lateral force, can move between an open position in which a first portion of the clip body is spaced from the outer side wall to allow an object to be hung on the clip body and a closed position;
- and
- a spring mechanism that biases the clip body to the closed position, wherein when the clip body is in the closed position, a spring of the spring mechanism is in an extended position and when the clip body is in the open position, the spring is compressed and stores energy.
