Claims20
A sole structure for an article of footwear, the sole structure comprising:
- a midsole including at least one cushioning pod extending from the midsole to a distal end;
- and
- at least one support frame unit disposed on the at least one cushioning pod and having (i) one or more resilient struts surrounding the cushioning pod and (ii) a support frame platform connected to the one or more resilient struts adjacent to the distal end of the cushioning pod.
A support module for an article of footwear, the support module comprising:
- a cushioning pod extending from a cushioning pod base to a distal end;
- and
- a support frame unit disposed on the cushioning pod and having (i) one or more resilient struts surrounding the cushioning pod and (ii) a support frame platform connected to the one or more resilient struts adjacent to the distal end of the cushioning pod.
An article of footwear comprising:
- an upper;
- and
- a sole structure attached to the upper and defining a ground-engaging surface of the article of footwear, the sole structure having a support module disposed between the upper and the ground-engaging surface and including (i) a cushioning pod extending from a base to a distal end and (ii) a support frame unit disposed on the cushioning pod and including (a) one or more resilient struts surrounding the cushioning pod and (b) a support frame platform connected to the one or more resilient struts adjacent to the distal end of the cushioning pod.
