Article of footwear having a sole structure

An article of footwear defining a toe end, a heel end, a lateral side, and a medial side, comprising:

• an upper;
• and
• a sole structure, comprising:
• a first midsole coupled to the upper and including a first plurality of ribs that extends longitudinally from a heel region through a forefoot region;
• a sole plate having an upper side and an underside opposite the upper side, the sole plate being coupled to the first midsole, wherein the sole plate includes a second plurality of ribs on the underside that defines a first plurality of grooves on the upper side;
• a second midsole coupled to the first midsole and the sole plate, the second midsole including a first depression and a second plurality of grooves having a depth;
• a third midsole coupled to the first midsole and the sole plate;
• and
• an outsole that defines a ground-engaging surface,
• wherein the second plurality of grooves of the second midsole is disposed within the first depression of the second midsole, and
• wherein the sole plate is disposed within the first depression of the second midsole.

An article of footwear defining a toe end, a heel end, a lateral side, and a medial side, comprising:

• an upper;
• and
• a sole structure, comprising:
• a first midsole coupled to the upper and including a first plurality of ribs;
• a sole plate that is coupled to the first midsole and includes a second plurality of ribs;
• a second midsole coupled to the first midsole and the sole plate;
• a third midsole coupled to the first midsole and the sole plate, the third midsole including a first depression and a plurality of grooves that extend from a front end of the third midsole toward a heel end of the third midsole;
• and
• an outsole that defines a ground-engaging surface,
• wherein the plurality of grooves of the third midsole is disposed within the first depression of the third midsole, and
• wherein the plurality of grooves of the third midsole receives the second plurality of ribs of the sole plate.
