Abstract
A helmet includes a helmet shell, a force-receiving member, and a force-dispersing member. The helmet shell comprises a rigid outer cover and a buffer layer disposed on an inner surface of the rigid outer cover. The force-receiving member is exposed on an outer surface of the rigid outer cover. The force-dispersing member is embedded within the buffer layer and connected to the force-receiving member. Through the force-dispersing member, the impact force exerted on the helmet shell or the force-receiving member can be dispersed, thereby providing effective buffering protection to the head of the wearer.
Claims12
A helmet comprising:
- a helmet shell having a rigid outer cover and a buffer layer disposed on an inner surface of the rigid outer cover;
- a force-receiving member exposed on an outer surface of the rigid outer cover;
- and
- a force-dispersing member embedded within the buffer layer and connected to the force-receiving member for dispersing an impact force applied to the helmet shell or the force-receiving member,
- wherein the force-dispersing member has two side brackets and a middle bracket connected between the two side brackets, and
- wherein the middle bracket includes a main stem, a plurality of side branches connected to two opposite sides of the main stem in pairs and arranged in a spaced manner along an extension direction of the main stem and each provided with one end connected to the main stem and the other end connected to one of the side brackets, such that a second hollow region integrated with the buffer layer is formed between the main stem, two adjacent side branches, and one of the side bracket, and a rear branch connected to a rear end of the main stem and having at least one third hollow region integrated with the buffer layer.
