Fastener tape and fabric are sewn along a second imaginary line that is parallel to a first imaginary line established by direct contact between two or more fastener elements and a presser foot. The fastener tape and the fabric are sewn along a fourth imaginary line that is parallel to a third imaginary line established by direct contact between a plastic member and a presser foot. The plastic member has a guiding surface with which the presser foot comes into contact such that the first and third imaginary lines extend collinearly so as to form one guiding line and the second and fourth imaginary lines extend collinearly so as to form one projected sewing line.
A method of sewing a fastener stringer to a fabric by using a sewing machine provided with a presser foot, the fastener stringer including a plurality of fastener elements secured, individually or as a continuous piece, to an elongated side edge portion of a fastener tape in an elongation direction of the fastener tape and a plastic member located adjacent to a fastener element positioned at a terminal end among the plurality of fastener elements in the elongation direction of the fastener tape so as to prevent a slider from falling, the method comprising:
An article comprising a slide fastener sewn to the article, the slide fastener comprising first and second fastener stringers and a slider that moves in front-rear direction so as to couple or decouple the first and second fastener stringers,
A slide fastener comprising:
