Abstract

A box, in particular a snus box, with a child-proof safety opening and comprising: a container which defines a housing chamber and comprises an open upper end, an inner side wall laterally delimiting the housing chamber, a lower wall delimiting the housing chamber at the bottom, and an outer side wall which is arranged around the inner side wall and at a given distance from the inner side wall and which has at least one interruption; a lid, which is coupled to the container to close the open upper end and laterally has a cavity; and at least one locking element, which is arranged in the area of the interruption of the outer side wall of the container and supports a tooth which is configured to be inserted into the cavity of the lid. The locking element is connected to the inner side wall of the container to move between an active position, in which the tooth is inserted in the cavity of the lid, and a deactivated position, in which the tooth is completely on the outside of the cavity of the lid. The cavity of the lid faces the outer side wall and the locking element moves the tooth from the inside of the box towards the outside of the box when it is moved from the active position to the deactivated position, so as to extract the tooth from the cavity of the lid.

Dependent claims

A box (1), in particular a snus box, with child-proof safety opening and comprising:

a container (2), which defines a housing chamber (3) and comprises an open upper end, an inner side wall (5) laterally delimiting the housing chamber (3), a lower wall (6) delimiting the housing chamber (3) at the bottom, and an outer side wall (7) arranged around the inner side wall (5) and at a given distance from the inner side wall (5);
wherein the outer side wall (7) has at least one interruption;
a lid (4), which is coupled to the container (2) to close the open upper end and laterally has a cavity (10);
and
at least one locking element (8), which is arranged in the area of the interruption of the outer side wall (7) of the container (2) and supports a tooth (11), which is configured to be inserted into the cavity (10) of the lid (4);
wherein the locking element (8) is connected to the inner side wall (5) of the container (2) to move between an active position, in which the tooth (11) is inserted in the cavity (10) of the lid (4), and a deactivated position, in which the tooth (11) is completely on the outside of the cavity (10) of the lid (4);
wherein the cavity (10) of the lid (4) faces the outer side wall (7);
and
wherein the locking element (8) moves the tooth (11) from the inside of the box (1) towards the outside of the box (1) when it is moved from the active position to the deactivated position, so as to extract the tooth (11) from the cavity (10) of the lid (4).
