Abstract
Provided are an aerosol generating substrate and an aerosol generating article. The aerosol generating substrate is an integral structure having one or more airways; among all of the airways, at least one airway extends from one end to an opposite end of the aerosol generating substrate in a first direction; and at least one of two opposite ends of each of the airways in an extending direction is an open end. A bulk density of the aerosol generating substrate is 0.25 g/cm3 to 1.40 g/cm3; and/or, a true density of the aerosol generating substrate is 1.0 g/cm3 to 1.6 g/cm3; and/or, a porosity of the aerosol generating substrate is 5% to 95%.

An aerosol generating substrate, wherein the aerosol generating substrate is an integral structure having one or more airways;
- among all of the airways, at least one airway extends from one end to an opposite end of the aerosol generating substrate in a first direction, and at least one end of two opposite ends of each of the airways in an extending direction is an open end;
- wherein a bulk density of the aerosol generating substrate is 0.25 g/cm3 to 1.40 g/cm3;
- and/or,
- a true density of the aerosol generating substrate is 1.0 g/cm3 to 1.6 g/cm3;
- and/or,
- a porosity of the aerosol generating substrate is 5% to 95%.
An aerosol generating article, comprising:
- an aerosol generating substrate;
- a functional segment, disposed at one end of the aerosol generating substrate in a first direction, and the functional segment at least comprising a cooling segment;
- and
- an outer wrapping layer, wrapped around outer peripheral sides of the functional segment and the aerosol generating substrate;
- wherein the aerosol generating substrate is an integral structure having one or more airways;
- among all of the airways, at least one airway extends from one end to an opposite end of the aerosol generating substrate in the first direction, and at least one end of two opposite ends of each of the airways in an extending direction is an open end;
- wherein a bulk density of the aerosol generating substrate is 0.25 g/cm3 to 1.40 g/cm3;
- and/or,
- a true density of the aerosol generating substrate is 1.0 g/cm3 to 1.6 g/cm3;
- and/or,
- a porosity of the aerosol generating substrate is 5% to 95%.
