Abstract
The present disclosure is directed to an iodophor formulation, method of making the iodophor formulation, and method of using the iodophor formulation. The iodophor composition comprises an iodine mixture, a nonionic surfactant, a macronutrient, a chelated micronutrient, and an agriculturally acceptable liquid carrier or diluent.

An iodophor formulation comprising:
- an iodine mixture;
- a nonionic surfactant;
- a macronutrient;
- a chelated micronutrient;
- and
- an agriculturally acceptable liquid carrier or diluent.

A method of preparing an iodophor formulation, the method comprising:
- dissolving a micronutrient and a chelated micronutrient in water to prepare a nutrient solution;
- dissolving potassium iodide in water and adding iodine to the potassium iodide in the water to prepare an iodine mixture;
- adding a nonionic surfactant to the nutrient solution forming a nonionic surfactant nutrient solution;
- and
- combining the nonionic surfactant nutrient solution and the iodine mixture to form the iodophor formulation.
