Abstract

A mowing deck assembly for an outdoor power machine is disclosed. The mowing deck assembly including a mowing deck defining an open-bottomed housing comprising a top panel and a peripheral wall structure; a plurality of electric blade motors mounted to the mowing deck; a plurality of mowing blades respectively driven by the plurality of electric blade motors; an electronic blade motor controller mounted within the mowing deck and electrically connected to the plurality of electric blade motors; and a baffle assembly mounted below the top panel, wherein the baffle assembly is configured to: permit airflow to the electronic blade motor controller for heat dissipation; and obstruct debris projected by the plurality of mowing blades from directly impacting the electronic blade motor controller.
